Duties & Competencies
Technical
1. Delivery of technical project work in several consultancy services, including Part L compliance, energy strategy, residential overheating, non-domestic thermal comfort, passive design analysis.
2. Delivery of technical project work on wider sustainability services as required by the company.
3. Maintaining awareness and technical knowledge of legislation, policies and regulations relevant to the role including the Building Regulations, local planning policy, industry codes, standards and guidelines, and the Construction Design and Management Regulations.
4. Support training and development of junior staff in key service areas.
5. Demonstrate ‘expert’ status in at least two service areas, as defined in the company Skills and Grade Matrices.
6. Attend, lead, and participate in the delivery of project meetings and workshops as required (both internal and external).
7. Apply a range of problem-solving skills to enable the successful delivery of project work.
8. Strong report writing and presentation skills.
9. Lead and develop services using creative and strategic thinking skills.
10. Undertake research as required in the delivery of technical services.
