Boston Hale are hiring for an Interim Head of Financial Operations for a not-for-profit organisation based in Birmingham. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant or QBE with significant experience in financial operations.
Responsibilities:
* Leading the day-to-day financial processing operations
* Managing credit control, accounts payable, and income teams
* Promoting the redesign and implementation of changes to working practices and procedures to meet legislative and regulatory requirements
* Analysing trends to inform decision-making on key financial strategies and policies
* Providing monthly management information for all areas of responsibility
* Taking responsibility for technical accounting entries in the ledger and compliance with accounting standards and applicable rules
* Managing relationships with key stakeholders
* Maintaining and updating transaction processing policies
* Identifying and making recommendations to improve value for money and financial control
