Due to continued success, Our Employment Partner is seeking the addition of a Legal Secretary / PA to join a busy team in our Hull office.
The Role
We are looking for a Legal Secretary / Personal Assistant to join our Employment Partner in Hull.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Legal Secretary, PA or Office Administrator (ideally in a legal/professional services background).
This principally office-based role requires strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Prior experience in legal support and office management is highly desirable.
The day-to-day duties include but are not limited to:
* Diary Management (inputting deadlines and reminders)
* Monitor emails and respond where necessary and applicable.
* Manage external networking events.
* Client communications, greeting clients, opening files.
* Be responsible for bills, invoices and expenses.
* Audio typing documents and correspondence.
* Recording all client and matter details on the case management system.
* Setting up new files.
* Ensuring details are kept up to date.
* Making appointments and maintaining the diary.
* To attend clients both in person and on the telephone in a professional and friendly manner.
* Office duties including filing, scanning, photocopying etc.
Personal Specification
The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate:
* Excellent communicator, both written and oral.
* Commercial awareness & ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
* Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
* Ability to build strong rapport and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
* Strong IT skills (specifically Outlook, Microsoft Excel/Word and Data Rooms).
* Ability to plan work and prioritise tasks.
* Ability to take initiative with tasks.
