As part of our strategic growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our esteemed Family Law team, focusing on providing comprehensive legal services to High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in family law, with particular expertise in complex financial arrangements, international considerations, and non-traditional family structures. What the role involves Client Advisory: Provide expert legal counsel to HNW and UHNW clients on matters including divorce, separation, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and child arrangements, ensuring advice is tailored to the unique dynamics of modern families. Complex Case Management: Handle cases involving intricate business assets, trusts (including offshore trusts), significant pension arrangements, and international elements, delivering solutions that align with clients' financial and personal objectives. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with colleagues across various departments—such as Private Client, Property, and Dispute Resolution—to provide a seamless, comprehensive legal service for clients. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their objectives, risk tolerance, and long-term goals. Mentorship: Support the development of junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Who we are looking for This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned family law specialist to join a forward-thinking and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will be: Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE in family law, preferably within a leading law firm. Proven experience advising HNW and UHNW clients, with a strong understanding of the complexities involved in managing substantial wealth and assets. Familiarity with international family law cases, child arrangements disputes, non-traditional family structures, family creation services such as surrogacy and adoption, and innovative solutions to family law challenges. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services. Ability to work collaboratively across departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
