Role Overview: We are looking for an ambitious and results-oriented Business Development Executive to drive growth within the construction and civil engineering sectors, covering both onshore and offshore projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and maintaining strong partnerships with existing customers to maximise revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and key decision-makers within the construction and civil engineering industries.
* Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the company's market presence.
* Build and nurture long-term client relationships through proactive communication and meetings.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services tailored to client needs.
* Create and present compelling proposals, pitches, and sales presentations to prospective clients.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market developments to identify new avenues for growth.
* Meet and exceed sales targets and performance objectives.
* Prepare proposals, quotations, and necessary documentation to secure business opportunities, with support from the marketing team.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to establish and strengthen professional connections.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
* Proven experience in business development or sales.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
