The Overview:
With so many electrical roles around at present – both permanent and contract – what would make this opportunity stand out?
Well, we have a track record of placing people in this company over the last 12 years all across the UK and – massively uncommon in 2024 – every single person (that’s 18!) are still there with 7 of these being promoted in to more senior roles. That alone tells its own story. It offers you the opportunity to be trained up on massively unique equipment (things you will not have come across before) which will undoubtedly further your career.
So if you are an established engineer who has good hands on commissioning experience as well as leading projects as well and looking to come in to a world leading organization with real career opportunities, let’s talk.
Any medical experience would be really beneficial too!
About you:
Traditionally, we usually look to place electrical professionals who are looking to develop their skillset on bigger, more complex equipment or for people who have hit a “glass ceiling” where they are.
You must be able to read electrical diagrams and have ran projects in some capacity whilst being hands on and be able to commission equipment, but the reality is the equipment will be new and we want someone who wants to learn and develop their career.
Our client:
We have worked with some of the major electrical players in the world over the years, these are organisation the one that I have the most interest in from candidates historically. A multinational company who are present in every continent apart from Antarctica, but who are organically growing in the UK so as the feeling of a growing SME (expanded by 25% in the last 4 years) in the UK which gives it a unique feel.
They manufacture their own electrical equipment which is provided in to numerous sectors across the world and have to train new staff up around such equipment – complex stuff and things that will be completely new to your skill set.
The role itself:
So what is the actual role itself? It is a hybrid role where you will be doing hands on commissioning work and project work as well, dependent on where the projects are up to.
You will be trained up on all our equipment, with you usually working with directors of client companies and looking to build relationships. The role is also home based and you plan and manage your own days – so some real autonomy – with you being on site where needed.
