About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Secondary Maths Teacher to join their committed team at a well-respected school in Kidderminster. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality maths lessons, fostering a love for the subject while ensuring students achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for engaging students of varying abilities and creating an inclusive learning environment that supports both academic success and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated maths lessons to secondary students
* Inspire a love for mathematics and help students develop problem-solving and analytical skills
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing targeted support where needed
* Create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs
* Support students in preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance student outcomes
* Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and enrichment programs
* Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and engagement
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching secondary maths, ideally across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
* A strong subject knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality maths education
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment
* The ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* A proactive approach to professional development and continuous improvement
