Maritime Security Supervisor Opportunity - Birkenhead
Are you passionate about maintaining a safe and secure environment? We are looking for a dedicated Maritime Security Supervisor to join our professional team and play a key role in safeguarding our operations.
Collaborating with Stena Authorities, UK Border Agency (UKBA), and SB Police to ensure the safety and security of the ports. This role involves working as part of a dedicated team of officers on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Salary: £12.45 per hour
Transport: Driving licence with access to your own vehicle / good transport links.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct equipment searches to prevent prohibited items from entering the Port.
* Perform X-ray screening, bag searches, and security checks.
* Carry out vehicle and freight inspections.
* Control access to the terminals.
* Assist customers with queries and support their journey through the Port.
* Follow security notices and complete incident documentation clearly and accurately.
* Respond to and assist in emergency situations.
* Conduct patrols to ensure all areas are secure.
* Investigate and attend to reports of incidents.
* Maintain SIA licence.
* 2 years experience in team leadership preferred.
* A full 5-year checkable work history.
* Problem-solving abilities.
* Experience in roster management.
* Incident responding experience.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Trustworthy and reliable.
* Excellent timekeeping skills and flexibility.
