Role Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a proactive, motivated and highly skilled candidate to take on the role of Medical Education Administration Officer in the Post Graduate Medical Education team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills. The post holder will work with a wide range of stakeholders including Resident doctors, SAS doctors and external organisations linked to the role.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator with a willingness to learn various IT systems and an interest in screen data reports, covering various expense claim circumstances for the Resident doctors and training events for SAS Doctors. The post holder will provide, comprehensive and professional responses to the more complex & challenging relocation and mileage queries from Resident doctors in training whilst ensuring that NHSE policies/procedures, and guidance are adhered to. It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to be confident in managing IT systems and running reports from various databases.
The post holder should have high attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. They would have; an understanding of confidentiality and good customer care skills; with excellent communication in written, verbal & organisational experience. It would be helpful if the successful candidate has experience of engaging in challenging conversations with clinicians regarding complex expense claims. The post holder would work within normal office hours but on some occasions would have to work flexible hours to cover Resident doctors’ events or Clinical Examinations as required within the team. Candidates should be highly efficient in the use of Databases, Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams and PowerPoint.
