We use proven technology, specialist teams and domain expertise to build solid technical foundations across platforms, data, and business applications. We have a passion for using technology to solve business problems, working in partnership with our clients to help in achieving their goals.
About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will work at the heart of a data-driven transformation, helping the business make smarter, faster decisions through meaningful insight. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, interpret asset-driven data, and deliver Business Intelligence solutions that add real value.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complexity into clarity – someone with a passion for data, strong analytical skills, and the confidence to communicate insights to a wide range of audiences.
As a Business Analyst, you will:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritise BI and reporting requirements
2. Act as the bridge between business teams and BI developers to ensure solutions align with business needs
3. Interpret complex asset data to support operations and strategic decision-making
4. Create clear, contextual visualisations and reports using BI tools
5. Identify process improvement opportunities through data insights
6. Ensure the use of consistent business terminology and trusted data sources
7. Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a data or asset-heavy environment
2. Demonstrable experience delivering solutions in Business Intelligence projects
3. Experience working with and interpreting asset data
4. A strong understanding of data quality and experience standardising complex data sets
5. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Confident communicator, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical audiences
8. Ability to present data-driven insights and visualisations in a way that makes sense to business users
