Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cancer Centre, we are looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking band 6 senior staff nurse to achieve band 7 Nurse Practitioner on completion of essential criteria for our cancer centre team within our Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU): Health Assessment L7 and Non-medical prescribing modules with in 18 months. This is a very exciting time to join the Cancer Centre nursing team at the University Hospital of North Midlands and play an integral role in delivering nurse led services within this speciality. Main duties of the job EAU encompasses both the management of oncology and haematology patients who develop severe complications during systemic anti-cancer treatment (SACT), as well as the management of patients who present as oncological and haematological emergencies.
