Job Title: Short-term Housing Support Worker
Location: Kirkcaldy
Hours: 36 per week (Mon-Fri, 9 am-5 pm)
Salary: £24,598
Contract: Temporary, through March 2025 (possible extension with funding)

We are acting on behalf of our client to end homelessness through prevention and empowerment. As a Short-term Housing Support Worker, you'll play a key role in supporting people to build a future of stability and self-worth. Join our team and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client-Centred Support: Help clients set personal goals and access resources using person-centred, trauma-aware practices.
2. Safety & Compliance: Assess risks, apply safety protocols, and document progress to ensure safe, compliant service delivery.
3. Collaboration & Growth: Work with cross-functional teams, engage in community partnerships, and continuously seek feedback to improve service quality.
4. Learning & Development: Pursue ongoing professional growth, maintain SSSC compliance, and build effective communication skills.
Qualifications
1. Experience in client-facing roles in housing, health, or social care.
2. Education: Minimum SVQ2 or working towards it, with a commitment to SSSC registration.
3. Skills: Active listening, case documentation, and empowerment techniques.
4. Transport: Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
