The successful candidate will be fully supported in attaining the artificial nutrition skill set required to make a difference in this specialised field. This exciting and rare opportunity has arisen in the East to compliment the current team; two permanent Band 6 posts, (1 x 30 hours and 1 x 32.25 hours) based in and will work as part of the integrated North Wales Clinical Nurse Specialists Nutrition Support (CNSNS) team based in Central/East. The post holder will be expected to work across all adult nursing boundaries and contribute to the provision of an adult focused North Wales wide service. Travel will be required on a periodic basis to support Health Board-wide delivery service - this is likely to include both sites as temporary bases where service need is required. Main duties of the job The main elements of the role include using expert clinical knowledge and skills supporting patients and staff to achieve safe effective artificial nutrition. In addition to the clinical duties, education training form important aspects to the role, including assessing competencies associated with artificial nutrition and contributing to management of change where required. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
