Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Tutor to join our team in Bicester. This role involves working one-on-one with primary school students to support their learning in key subjects, including Maths, English, and Science. You will create engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student, helping to boost their confidence and academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver personalized tutoring sessions for primary-aged children in line with the national curriculum.
* Identify each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, adapting teaching methods accordingly.
* Provide engaging, interactive lessons that inspire a love of learning.
* Track and assess student progress, providing feedback and setting achievable goals.
* Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed of their child’s progress.
* Create a positive and supportive learning environment that builds student confidence.
Requirements:
* Experience working with primary-aged children in a tutoring, teaching, or educational support role.
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly in Maths, English, and Science.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, positive, and encouraging approach to teaching.
* Relevant qualifications in education or teaching (desirable but not essential).
* A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
