PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Our schools technology programme aims to inspire young people from diverse communities across Nottinghamshire to embrace technology and education. Using the power of football, the Programme Coordinator will excite and trigger interest in sports and tech, encouraging them to consider rewarding careers in technology-based jobs through a structured and innovative tech programme in schools.
Based at the City Ground and reporting to the Head of Programmes, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and developing the Trust’s technology education programme, Think Big.
The Think Big programme is delivered in collaboration with Ideagen – one of the world’s fastest growing tech companies with headquarters in Nottingham.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Deliver Engaging Workshops – Design and deliver in-person assemblies and workshops promoting tech in sport within schools and communities.
2. Build Key Relationships – Develop and manage partnerships with schools, stakeholders, and industry partners.
3. Drive Programme Growth – Lead the expansion and development of the Think Big programme.
4. Achieve KPIs & Report Impact – Work towards defined targets and produce monthly reports on programme achievements.
5. Enhance Curriculum & Matchday Workshops – Maintain a sports-specific tech curriculum and deliver workshops on matchdays at The City Ground.
6. Advocate for Tech & Innovation – Promote technology careers and innovative thinking within the community.
7. Increase Programme Visibility – Collaborate with marketing to create media content and share success stories internally and externally.
8. Support & Manage Staff – Line manage programme assistants and support the Head of Programmes with data collation.

1. Engaging & Motivational – Confident, dynamic personality with the ability to inspire and motivate young people.
2. Project Management & Delivery – Proven experience in managing projects, designing schemes of work, and reporting impact.
3. Tech & Sport Knowledge – Strong understanding of technology, sport, and STEAM subjects with a passion for innovation.
4. Communication & Presentation – Skilled in presenting to large school audiences and communicating effectively at all levels.
5. Stakeholder & Relationship Management – Proactive in engaging schools, partners, and key stakeholders.
6. Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, using initiative and creative thinking.
7. Commitment & Compliance – Willingness to work flexible hours, hold a recent DBS check, and uphold equal opportunities.
8. Practical Requirements – Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
