About the Role
The Salesforce Administrator will be a dynamic, versatile professional responsible for managing, supporting, and enhancing our Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft, Field Service, Tableau, and Einstein AI. This role requires a broad skill set to deliver rapid, innovative solutions that align with DeterTech’s customer lifecycle and EU growth strategy.
We seek a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to experiment with new approaches, and is committed to continuous improvement, moving at pace to deliver above traditional Salesforce implementations to drive efficiency and impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and implement cutting-edge enhancements to Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and Tableau, boosting user experience and business outcomes.
* Experiment with new workflows, automation rules, and Einstein AI-driven insights to empower sales, marketing, and service teams with smarter solutions.
* Design and maintain dynamic reports and dashboards in Salesforce and Tableau, leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and uncover market opportunities.
* Stay ahead of the curve by exploring Salesforce and Tableau releases, championing new features to keep DeterTech’s tech stack at the forefront.
Implementation and Integration
* Champion the Salesforce ecosystem, diving into data migration, field customisation, and workflow setup to bring solutions to life quickly.
* Collaborate on MuleSoft integrations, testing API connectors to link systems like ERP, IoT security platforms, and external data sources (e.g., crime or construction data).
* Build and configure Tableau dashboards to visualise insights from Salesforce (CRM, Marketing Cloud, Field Service) and external sources (e.g., ERP, IoT, crime statistics, construction site data), using APIs for seamless data integration.
* Drive localisation of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud for EU markets like Denmark and Germany, ensuring compliance with regional standards.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to deploy Field Service and Einstein AI, delivering impactful features with speed.
System Administration and Support
* Keep Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, Field Service, and related platforms humming by configuring them to meet evolving business needs.
* Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and security settings with accuracy ideally through automation, ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance.
* Provide responsive end-user support, swiftly resolving issues with workflows, reports, dashboards, and integrations.
* Monitor system performance and conduct audits to maintain peak functionality and reliability.
Training and Documentation
* Empower end-users by keeping the workflows easy to use and simple to train and help with support for training.
* Create clear, concise documentation for system configurations, processes, and customisations to support compliance and team efficiency.
* Champion change management initiatives, with continual enthusiasm for new systems and processes where these can help drive growth and efficiencies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience: 2+ years as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role, with hands-on experience in Salesforce CRM configuration and support.
Certifications: Salesforce Administrator certification; Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft, or Tableau certifications (desirable).
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in configuring Salesforce CRM, including custom objects, workflows, and validation rules.
* Experience with Marketing Cloud for campaign setup and audience segmentation.
* Familiarity with MuleSoft for API integrations and data connectivity.
* Knowledge of Tableau for building dashboards and visualising data.
* Understanding of Field Service and Einstein AI functionalities.
* Basic development skills to create custom solutions, such as Apex triggers, Visualforce pages, or Tableau calculated fields, to enhance Salesforce and Tableau functionality.
* Experience using AI tools (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to accelerate development, streamline coding tasks, and improve solution quality.
Soft Skills:
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address issues and enhance systems.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with IoT, ERP, or public data source integrations.
* Experience in the security or technology sector.
* Knowledge of GDPR and EU data compliance requirements in a marketing context.
