DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Prospect and develop new opportunities to grow the business. Independently develop/execute account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals within the assigned sales territory, market segment or channel partners.
* Understand customer needs and priorities and offer Cummins solutions and executes account plans for top prospects and conducts agreed upon face-to-face sales calls.
* Conduct negotiations according to company guidelines, including payment terms. Assist with collection of accounts receivables when needed.
* Drive sales, achieving financial sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain and strengthen customer relationships to generate future sales and repeat business. Respond to customer concerns in a timely fashion.
* Develops and execute sales tactics for various segments using data collected, documented in the CRM tool that is aligned with the sales strategies as directed by the Sales Leader.
* Strong Sales Pipeline Management to proactively plan for successful execution of sales strategies and produce Sales Forecasts
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Technical/mechanical background with a sound understanding of engines/electrical - Aftermarket experience is highly desirable.
* Previous sales experience in a similar role is preferred.
* World class communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and develop new business.
* Demonstrated customer service experience and proven track record of developing relationships to drive sales.
