Bridge House is recruiting for a part-time cleaner to join our support team! We are looking for passionate people to ensure our sites are safe and comfortable, covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the homes and must have a flexible approach to respond quickly to requests for assistance.
Everything we do at Bridge House is about the future success of our students who have found themselves outside of mainstream education due to their social, emotional, or mental health needs. The children access a broad curriculum, with a wide range of learning opportunities taught alongside self-regulation and social skills, within our warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
The hours for this role are 3.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, during term time (39 weeks per year).

The successful candidate will have experience with daily cleaning schedules, ensure appropriate paperwork is completed, and have a good knowledge of health and safety legislation applicable to the role, along with the following characteristics:
Communication: Your working environment may involve interacting with our young people who may display varying degrees of emotional behavioral difficulties, autism, ADHD, and associated difficulties.
Organisation: You’ll need to be confident and organized in record keeping, ensuring issues are logged on the internal computer systems and keeping up to date with routine maintenance checks.
Attentiveness: No two jobs will be the same, so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important.
