This role will provide additional expertise and capacity within the client's global CBTA Deployment Team in 2025. As part of the Client's Global Services Training Solutions, the CBTA Deployment Team is dedicated to developing highly skilled and resilient commercial aviation professionals. Their training solutions are trusted worldwide and backed by the client's extensive industry knowledge, research, and experience to enhance learning effectiveness and improve flight safety. The client is seeking a CBTA Deployment Lead & Instructor Focal to provide expert guidance and oversight for the implementation of CBTA and EBT programmes across a range of global airlines. Key Responsibilities: Lead a CBTA Deployment team of subject matter experts, assessing customer airline requirements and facilitating a seamless transition to the CBTA/EBT programme. Utilise prior instructional experience to evaluate pilot training needs and develop competency-based training content aligned with the client's CBTA/EBT framework. Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of CBTA programmes within customer airlines, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Assess existing airline training methodologies and support their transition to CBTA/EBT, offering strategic guidance and recommendations. Analyse training data and produce detailed reports to support the airline's CBTA development activities. Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of airline training delivery, providing feedback, proposals, and consultation to enhance programme quality. Experience & Qualifications: Current or previous holder of a commercial pilot licence, ideally with experience on Boeing aircraft (this is a non-flying role). Minimum of three years' experience in a management role within an airline's Flight Operations or Training Department. Strong knowledge of pilot training programme regulatory requirements. In-depth understanding of CBTA and EBT principles. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrable experience in leading teams remotely and independently. Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and their application to pilot training. Extensive background in pilot instruction (TRI/TRE) with over three years' experience. Proven track record in successfully delivering complex projects, preferably within commercial airline training. Strong understanding of project and programme management principles and best practices.
