You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers The hospital is a specialist provider of complex mental health services, providing clinical excellence across 11 wards which include a speciality eating disorder service, CAMHS, rehabilitation, acute and PICU services To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse RMN or RNLD Nurse with a current active NMC Pin As the Deputy Ward Manager your key responsibilities include: Assisting the Ward Manager in providing day to day management and supervision of the ward Assisting the Ward manager in providing management and supervision of a team of registered and unregistered staff Implementing best practice across the ward Support changes within the service Responsible for the clinical direction of the service Support the delivery of personalised care and contribute to service improvement Supporting and contributing to MDT practice Implementation and evaluation of therapeutic interventions within an overall care programme Assisting the ward manager in ensuring that care and treatment is provided meets the standards set by regulators The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Clinical Supervision experience essential, training desirable Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop Continued professional development and leadership Highly developed communication skills Good computer skills Experience in Mental Health or Learning Disability services The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £40,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week.
