Job Summary: As Head of Sales, you will take ownership of all sales activities, driving the revenue strategy across all aspects of the hotel's operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead the sales, ensuring strategic alignment with the overall business goals. This pivotal role will require strong leadership, strategic foresight, and the ability to build long-lasting relationships while ensuring exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership : Develop and oversee the hotels overarching sales strategy, ensuring the achievement of revenue objectives across rooms, events, and other services. Team Leadership : foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Revenue Generation : Identify and target key markets, driving business growth through corporate, leisure, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) channels. Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain relationships with high-value corporate clients, travel agencies, event organisers, and partners, acting as the hotels primary sales ambassador. Market Analysis : Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities, translating insights into actionable strategies. Budget and Performance Management : Develop and manage the sales budget, monitoring performance and ensuring profitability. Collaborative Planning : Partner with the marketing and events teams to design impactful campaigns and deliver seamless guest experiences. Contract Negotiation : Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with hotel policies. Performance Reporting : Present regular sales reports and forecasts to the senior leadership team, providing insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement. Our successful Head of Sales will have: Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within the luxury hospitality sector. Demonstrable success in developing and executing strategic sales plans. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset.
