Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Head of Bid Management, the scope of the role is to become a key member of our tender and bid management function. The role has responsibility for managing opportunities for both RWCS MedWaste and Shred-it. Main activity areas include bid/tender/proposal preparation and coordination, process excellence, reporting, team and stakeholder engagement.
Key Job Activities:
Completion and delivery of high quality EOIs, PQQs, SQs and ITTs/RFPs submission evaluation (externally and internally). Focus on achieving a high win rate.
Process management. Effectively communicate the requirements, deadlines and expectations to key stakeholders across the business for inflight bids and tenders.
Work closely with bid and sales colleagues, marketing, legal, finance teams, regional Operations managers and other team members to enhance service offerings delivered.
Preparation, research, production and submission of all bid and tender documentation to deadlines. Ensure the submission of tenders via traditional and electronic procurement portal delivery channels.
Monitoring of all relevant tender portals and identifying suitable commercial opportunities for both Stericycle RWCS and SID brands.
Use SFDC and other company defined IT systems to effectively manage pipelines, report activity and communicate both internally and externally in a professional manner.
Develop and maintain an information database to include case studies, Customer references, appropriate 'boiler plate' information including insurance, memberships etc.
Education:
Required Education: A Levels or equivalent.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's or equivalent.
Experience (EMEAA):
Required Years of Experience: 2+ years.
Preferred Experience: Good knowledge & understanding of Bid Management.
Any bid management professional qualifications or certifications e.g., APMP.
Demonstrate team working and engagement skills.
Strong organisational / planning skills with ability to multi-task and meet demanding deadlines effectively under pressure without supervision.
Excellent business writing skills.
Broad business acumen with strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Experienced in building and leveraging relationships.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adhere with and drive process excellence and governance.
