Inaddition, the business provides services and supports that helpindependent community pharmacy to compete more effectively in anincreasingly difficult environment and runs a network ofUniphar-owned pharmacies under the Life, Allcare, McCauleys andHickeys symbol brands.
Pharma - OnDemand
The On-Demand business is aspecialist medical supply business that sources and distributespharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and consumable supplies tohealthcare professionals in over 160 countries worldwide. We haveoffices in Ireland, UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand. The company'smain divisions encompass everything from International Salesthrough Sales to NGO's and Charities, Clinical Trials Supply,Imported (Unlicensed Medicines), Sexual Health Supplies, and thestorage and distribution of medical products and devices for thirdparties.

Therole
We are currently looking tohire an enthusiastic, energetic, and ambitious Business DevelopmentManager to join our International Salesteam.
Exploring new business opportunities inuntapped markets, while driving growth in existing developedregions within the Trading Team for sales globally, with the desireto grow to be the best in market, and go-to exporter forInternational clients.
The role will requirestrategic thinking, ability to work in a fast-paced environment,target driven and a strong desire to prospect and grow newbusiness. The successful candidate will need to be a motivated,target driven individual able to work independently as well asworking closely with the International Sales team and Internalsupporting business units to deliver end to end customer service.
Key Outcomes andResponsibilities
* Identifyingnew business opportunities internationally by prospecting newcustomers and following up on leads.
* Working aspart of a growing international sales team to drive growth& implement the long-term trading/selling strategyrepresenting Durbin UK.
* Work towards KPI's andObjectives to maximise value within Key Markets and build strategicgrowth within the Trading team.
* Develop newbusiness leads by meeting potential clients to understand theirneeds and providing relevant solutions.
* Buildand maintain strong relationships across the business, inparticular Quality, Finance andOperations.
* Identify new business opportunitiesto grow the client base to help drivegrowth.
* Experience in Pharmaceuticals indifferent markets - MENA, LATAC and Africa

* Proventrack record in achieving targets, in a wholesaleenvironment.
* Solid understanding of thePharmaceutical Industry locally &globally.
* Extensive experience in prospectingnew business.
