We are recruiting for a full time Mental Health Support Worker for Cygnet Hospital Beckton which offers a range of secure mental health services for women across four specialist wards.
Main duties of the job
As an active member of our dynamic team, you'll provide support for our nursing staff including the admission, assessment, implementation, and discharge of inpatients, with a focus on dignity and safety at all times.

Cygnet Hospital Beckton is a gender-specific hospital for women with complex mental health needs. Situated in the East End of London, the hospital has four different specialist wards including PICU, acute admissions, and personality disorder services.
Job responsibilities
Cygnet has been providing a national network of high-quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years.
You will be expected to work on average 38.5 hours per week covering 11-hour shifts on a rota basis and must be able to cover a mixture of day (7.30-20.00) and night (19.30-08.00) shifts. It will also be a requirement for you to be able to complete the mandatory training.
Person Specification
We are ideally looking for people with previous inpatient mental health experience in a challenging and/or an acute setting.
