Key Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:
* Delivering projects from inception to completion.
* Providing cost advice and management across various project types.
* Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Provide cost planning and estimation throughout the project lifecycle.
* Produce estimates and conduct budget reviews across various sectors.
* Collect and analyse data to define client and stakeholder needs.
* Create Analysis and Benchmarking Reports to promote value for money.
* Champion innovation both within our organisation and on the client side.
* Lead and support the development of tools that integrate data and dashboards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor:
* Strong PQS background with relevant industry qualifications.
* Ideally 4-5+ years of post-graduation experience in quantity surveying.
* Experience across diverse sectors would be ideal.
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
* Time management skills.
* Commercial awareness.
* Pre and post contract experience.
* Chartered member of RICS or working towards it.
