Service Technician/ Workshop Engineer / Fitter required to join a leading electromechanical engineering manufacturer based in Grimsby.
The Successful Service Technician/ Workshop Engineer / Fitter will provide service, maintenance, repair of electromechanical pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators, electric motors and similar at the workshop in Sheffield.
The Service Technician/ Workshop Engineer / Fitter will have a good electromechanical engineering background ideally in rotating equipment such as generators, pumps, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, generators, gearboxes or similar electromechanical / rotating machinery products or systems.

Service Technician/ Workshop Engineer / Fitter role:
Will provide service, maintenance, repair of electromechanical pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators, electric motors and similar at the workshop near Sheffield.
Will also carry out electrical fault finding, testing, and wiring of electromechanical products such as pumps, valves, electric motors, and more, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational before delivery.
Identify machinery damage and conduct basic electrical testing.
Ability to complete technical documentation as work is progresses.
To perform other duties as assigned from time to time and liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Technician/ Workshop Engineer / Fitter Requirements:
Experience as a rotating equipment engineer, pump engineer, pump fitter, fitter, hydraulic fitter, hydraulic engineer, valve technician, installation engineer, pump installation engineer, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer, service engineer, electrical engineer, workshop engineer, service technician or similar.
Good electromechanical engineering background such as wiring, circuitry, pumps, gearboxes, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, generators, or similar electromechanical / rotating machinery products or systems.
Will ideally have the experience and ability to conduct testing and control checks on electromechanical rotating machinery.
An engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous would be advantageous.
Willingness to commute to the workshop near Sheffield
