HR Advisor
Location: Ratho Office - 3 days a week/Expectation to be in Stirling office every other week - Potential Opportunity for Hybrid working.

Your new role
The HR Advisor role sprovide efficient HR employee relations support to the business units ensuring the effective delivery of the agreed Group HR strategy and providing proactive, business focused HR support and HR Advisor will ensure effective management of employee relations cases across specific business units. Working closely with 2 Managing Directors and their Senior Leadership teams, regional presence and support is a key aspect of the role.
What you'll do:
1. Deliver an effective HR service to the assigned business areas, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures and in line with best practice in people management.
2. Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
3. Liaise closely with business leaders and managers to monitor HR practices and ensure compliance providing professional advice and guidance.
4. Lead in case management across your business areas, complex attendance issues, performance management, grievance, restructures, redundancies and reevaluation of posts in accordance with both policies and procedures.
5. Ensure consistency and compliance with case management highlighting trends for the wider HR team learning.
6. Support when required the development and implementation of HR policies and update Employee Handbooks as appropriate. Ensuring that policies are kept up to date on all relevant drives.
7. Lead on the production of HR reports on a regular basis on such topics as employee engagement, sickness absence, turnover, analysing trends and highlighting improvement opportunities to the HR Manager, SLT and Heads of Business.
8. Monitor trends in employment practice and employment law to advise on appropriate pro-active action.
What you'll need:
9. Degree or equivalent
10. HR systems experience
11. Chartered or Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or relevant qualification
12. Commercially aware
13. Committed to CPD
14. Focused and highly motivated
15. Planning/prioritising and time-management skills
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and writing
17. Experience of handling demanding ER caseloads
18. Confident in analysing data and interpreting trends
19. Strong report writing skills
20. Ability to cope under pressure
21. Knowledge and understanding of various sectors of the Group and able to work collaboratively across all teams
22. Must be able to work independently to achieve deadlines and manage priorities, and maintaining regular communication channels with the wider team
23. Focused on continuous improvement
24. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
