Social Media Manager at H C Slingsby Plc
Reporting To: Head of Marketing & Product
Overall Objective: To manage strategy for specified product ranges, including sourcing products, manage supply base, negotiate commercial buying terms and pricing, merchandise and marketing of products through Slingsby's different selling platforms.
1. KEY TASKS
1. Liaise with suppliers, negotiate on price, rebates, marketing contributions, quality, and service.
2. New supplier sourcing, evaluation, and selection.
3. Review existing product range performance, both online and offline.
4. Monitor and merchandise online product listings and product ranges.
5. Select new products/product ranges, in line with the product range strategy.
6. Manage discontinued products/ranges, considering outstanding stock and/or customer service requirements.
7. Assist in the creation of new products and upkeep of existing products on the product information management system.
8. Provide competitor analysis reports and gap analysis.
9. Provide analysis of product sales to assist range strategy and key decision making for the Product & Marketing Teams.
10. Ensure procedures & documentation are in place to meet latest product legislation.
11. Responsible for production of catalogue pages & other direct mail associated with specified product ranges.
2. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
1. Comply with Company rules, regulations and always working practices.
2. Present a good image of the Company to people outside.
3. Carry out any other additional duties that might be required in the company’s interest.
