Vision for Education SEND Supply Teachers
Vision for Education is seeking supply SEND Teachers to work in local schools in Bath and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible. You will be supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities such as SEMH, Autism, and Physical Disabilities in a friendly and supportive environment within a specialist setting.
About the School
The specialist schools cater to students with communication and interaction problems, learning difficulties, social or emotional issues, and visual or hearing impairments. They offer excellent facilities and resources, with a child-centred approach. Most schools have good public transport links; access to a vehicle is advantageous.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEND Teacher, you should:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT).
2. Possess a driving licence (preferred but not essential).
3. Have a DBS Certificate (advantageous but not essential), which can be arranged.
4. Be confident in de-escalating challenging situations; training is a plus but not required.
