The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day running of scopes across all construction trades within the site across multiple projects, ensuring SIMOPs, safety, and quality are maintained. The role requires the ability to execute timelines that meet business requirements as per client status.
Key Accountabilities
1. Maintain Multi-Trade Construction Coordination to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of operation.
2. Manage the work of Engineering Services to ensure compliance with standards and all pertinent specification requirements.
3. Participate in coordination meetings ensuring trade clashes and potential high-risk critical paths are identified.
4. Monitor contractor workload and specific project progress in conjunction with the Construction Manager to ensure project schedules are met or adjusted in line with current project conditions.
5. Ensure daily project progress reports and diaries are kept up to date.
6. Release all scopes only with approval from the Construction Manager or Engineering Manager, review variation applications, and confirm work change directives.
7. Provide quality control inspection of workmanship in multiple construction trades ensuring compliance with standard specifications, contract documents, and industry construction methods.
8. Ensure HSE standards are maintained to site expectations with direct compliance with good housekeeping standards, completing site safety audits directed by the Construction Manager and targeting zero accidents.
9. Confirm project material requirements ensuring MTO's are issued to the Procurement Department in a timely manner.
10. Perform related duties as assigned.
11. Ensure production targets are met and all timelines coordinated to suit.
12. Validate SIPs quotes and valuations.
13. Execute multi contracts and KPI's.
14. Quality control and sign off within all SIPs scopes.
15. Provide productivity reports.
16. Develop look-ahead schedules working with contractor and business requirements.
17. Coordinate business critical priorities.
18. Coordinate SIPs resources to meet business requirements.
19. Work with the business and project teams to develop and introduce innovation to access requirements.
SHEQ Management
1. Comply with Procedure QA001, adhere to ISO Standards ISO 9001 (Quality), 18001 (Environmental), and 45001 (Health and Safety), attend HSEQ Training, and ensure GMP is demonstrated at all times.
2. Ensure that all Safety, Health, Environment, & Quality requirements are met including (but not limited to) workplace organization, standard operating procedures, work instructions, risk assessments, permit issuing and control, COSHH assessments, housekeeping standards, and operating within the environmental permit.
Team Building & Incentive
Assist the Construction Manager in the generation, data collection, and monitoring of Construction level KPI's.
Communication
1. Communicate and coordinate within all production and engineering related departments.
2. Delegate work scopes to contractor management and supervision.
3. Engage at all levels within engineering and production.

Follow company procedures to maintain confidential and sensitive information.

Respond to all duties as directed by either the Construction Manager or Engineering Manager.
Education
Essential
1. Multi-trade construction knowledge within the Petro-Chemical industry and experience within Top Tier COMMAH sites.
2. IOSH managing safety or equivalent.
3. Working experience and familiarity with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
4. A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in relevant construction and installation activities.
