We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join the Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Ltd estates team to work within our mechanical team in the estates workshop. The workshop provides a maintenance service to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and external clients. You will need to demonstrate strong team working skills, have good experience of working in a maintenance role, and be comfortable in working to targets and working on your own.
The post-holder will be required to work on the tradesperson on-call rota for which additional payments will be made on top of the stated salary. The post-holder will be required to support the building and electrical workshops as required and within the capabilities of their skills.

Essential
* NVQ3 in Plumbing/Heating (or equivalent experience).
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
Desirable
* Significant post qualification training in plumbing, heating, ventilation or medical gas.
Experience
Essential
* Able to demonstrate significant experience in working with commercial heating, plumbing, and ventilation systems, both in terms of maintenance and installation work.
* Experience of managing more junior trades staff and/or apprentices.

* Experience of using Computer Aided Facilities Management software to manage and complete jobs.
* Experience working as a Medical Gas, Ventilation or Water Competent Person.
