Job summary A&E Receptionist 34.5 hours and 23 hours The Accident and Emergency Department is seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated Receptionist to complement our current reception and clerical team. Our Accident and Emergency Department is very busy and dynamic with over 300 patients a day attending for treatment.Our team is friendly, motivated and committed to providing a high quality, expert emergency service for the patients we treat. Not only is the efficient running of the reception and the clerical services integral to the patients' journey, it is often the patients and relatives first point of contact in the department. Candidates should have worked in a clerical / administration environment and have used a patient administration system. Good communication skills, effective keyboard skills and the ability to organise workload are essential criteria for the post.
