A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Stock Controller to join our company who specialise in the manufacture of Medical Lighting. Job Summary: The ideal candidate must have previous experience in inventory control & purchasing within a warehouse environment, ideally with a manufacturing or electronics background?. You will be organised, enjoy a challenge and eager to learn.? The Stock Controller is responsible for managing, coordinating, and optimising the flow of materials within the Company. This includes ensuring the timely and accurate procurement, storage, distribution, and tracking of materials required for production and operations. Immediate start available. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of all stock levels. Track and monitor material usage to forecast demand accurately. Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Generate purchase orders and manage procurement schedules. Oversee the proper storage, labelling, and organisation of materials within the factory or designated areas. Ensure materials are stored in compliance with safety and quality standards. Communicate with production team to ensure materials are available as per the production schedule. Address material shortages and liaise with relevant departments. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Dispatch of daily orders Skills Required: Previous purchasing & stock control experience is essential. Experience with electronics or manufacturing Fluent written and spoken English, any other Languages would be beneficial but not essential, Be self-motivated with a hands-on 'can-do' approach. Excellent organisational skills An eye for detail. High level of accuracy. Can work under pressure and able to multi-task.
