Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Delivering on time and accurately various elements and processes leading to the programme Funders panel Capture, sourcing, interrogation, analysis, reporting, presentation and monitoring of data relating to the programme protfolio and taking timely review and corrective actions as necessary Regularly researching and identifying potential success stories, coordinating the development of related communications and publicity with specialist teams Monitoring and where required providing timely reminders to ensure projects funded by the Smart and Open programmes start and complete within the agreed criteria and timelines Providing a regular fit for purpose dashboard and relevant information for the above Assisting with moderation of competition applications and assessment results, identifying and dealing with outliers Reporting of key programme metrics for internal and external stakeholders, providing portfolio analysis to colleagues within the organisation, considering and identifying trends and patterns in relevant portfolio data Development and maintenance of strong relationships with primary stakeholders including Project Participants and Monitoring Officers Develop a strong understanding of your wider portfolio, undertaking trend analysis as appropriate and reporting regularly to relevant colleagues and ensuring consistency across the entire portfolio. Working with teams across Innovate UK to develop information and reporting processes that provide detailed information about the portfolio, working with internal and external stakeholders in developing inputs and reporting formats Review all portfolio level reports and overall progress towards competitions objectives and feedback to relevant internal parties as required Coordinate with other teams dealing with, or related to, monitoring activities and related matters to ensure that all reports and issue logs are completed in a timely fashion Monitor the output of the Monitoring Officers s via teams dealing with monitoring and related activities, considering the accuracy of reporting and ensuring that due attention has been paid to forecasting and claims information Support teams dealing with monitoring and related activities with the co-ordination of the Monitoring Officers, providing a point of escalation for all issues and concerns Undertake project visits as appropriate in support of the Monitoring Officers and Innovation Leads, working with other internal parties to ensure stakeholder disputes are handled efficiently Be present to support during times of conflict within projects, working with teams dealing with monitoring and related activities to ensure that issues are caught early and dealt with expediently Provide a point of escalation for Project issues/queries and complaints raised via teams dealing with monitoring and related activities, directing problems as appropriate to other internal parties and resolving as appropriate Meet and liaise with competition Innovation Leads and other colleagues as required Review high profile/high budget project change requests, working with Innovation Leads to ensure fast and accurate sign-off This is not an exhaustive list and you might be encouraged to undertake any other duties across the wider directorate, commensurate with the Band and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the key experience and/or training.
