As a vital member of our site security team, you will engage in a variety of essential security duties.

An important and sensitive site for our client, with a well-established team in place. Secure parking provided and modern facilities and control room.
Responsibilities
* Manage all security personnel and the day-to-day operational issues impacting the contract.
* Provide a central point of contact for service delivery, performance measurement, and centralized reporting.
* Ensure all personnel under supervision have undertaken the appropriate site training and possess a valid SIA license or LDN.
* Accurate rostering and forward planning of all direct reporting officers to ensure sufficient cover for holidays, sickness, and absences.
* Proactively monitor performance of Security Officers, maintaining positive employee relations and ensuring coaching and counseling are implemented in line with company policy.
* Monitor and manage the appearance and behaviors of all Security personnel.
* Encourage staff recognition and nominations for awards.
* Keep Assignment Instructions and site documentation up to date.
* Report all incidents in compliance with customer and company policy.
* Plan, develop, and implement staff training, including routine duties and emergency procedures.
* Monitor faults with security-related equipment and ensure they are reported correctly.
* Be fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection, and Alarm Systems.
* Participate in any arranged company training to improve standards of performance.
* Manage and lead others effectively.
* Demonstrate decision-making and communication skills.
* Exhibit business acumen and commercial awareness.
* Ensure operational excellence and strategic thinking in planning and forecasting.
* Build customer relationships and networks.
Minimum Requirements
* Current SIA licence.
* Full 5-year checkable work history.
* Competence in MS Word, Excel, and E-Mail (Outlook).
* Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Adaptability and responsiveness to changes in priorities, plans, and schedules.
