Your contributions will be essential in supporting our medical technologists and pathologists, ensuring the smooth operation of the lab and the accuracy of test results. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and preparing patient specimens, performing basic laboratory tests, and maintaining accurate records. You will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all procedures are conducted safely and efficiently. Your role will also involve assisting medical technologists and pathologists with more complex tests, adhering to laboratory safety protocols, and managing inventory. Your attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the lab and the accuracy of test results. Qualifications and Experience: • Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, which can include internships or part-time roles. • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques, strong attention to detail, and accuracy. • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Assistant or in a related field is advantageous. • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
