Internal Sales Estimators
Our client is a large, independent and privately funded stockholder and nationwide distributor of Mild Steel processed products. Based in the West Midlands, we are appointing a number of Internal Sales Estimators for our expanding Valued Added Services Division.
Taking substrate raw material from our own internal steel processing cut to length lines, the role will require knowledge and understanding of either Laser, Flame, or Plasma cut profiles. Additional knowledge of press braking would be a distinct advantage to the right candidates.
The positions will suit individuals from a Sales Engineer or Estimating background with knowledge of CAD & Nesting. Previous sales and estimating experience is essential, along with comprehensive computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
The right candidates will demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Working in a busy Sales room environment, the successful candidates will be responsible for supporting Sales Representatives, developing relationships with prospective and Key Accounts, achieving agreed monthly sales KPIs, proactively seeking new business, maintaining regular contact with customers, and growing business through a program of sales calls. Candidates will be required to build positive relationships with customers, identifying their needs and increasing sales, responding to all sales queries and tenders promptly, updating the customer database, providing quotations, and completing internal administration.
The candidate will be a team player, working closely with other departments within the organisation including Production, Transport, Purchasing, Accounts, and Quality.
