Our Client is a globally recognised, successful bank who provide world-class services to various institutions and individuals. Offering a comprehensive range of retail and corporate financial services/products, this thriving business boasts over 10 million active customers in over 700 business locations. Due to business requirements, we are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer/Manager
Please note that this is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
(Initially will be 5 days a week in the office)
Key Responsibilities:
The role of the IT infrastructure Manager is to ensure 99.9% high availability of all the banks systems and networks, as businesses are increasingly reliant on technology. The role is crucial to the bank’s business continuity and operational resilience plan.
The role will advise the CTO on technology and security implementations, process reengineering and cybersecurity best practices and solutioning that will enhance current practices and assist the organisation to perform efficiently and remain secure.
As IT infrastructure Manager you would be expected to perform full technical support to all the banks core infrastructures and provide technical assistance to users on a range of systems and business applications.
Supporting the Banking applications, servers, network, voice, security devices and related areas and keeping all the infrastructure up and running and ensuring operational integrity of all the services provided, ensure that all procedures are up to date and are being followed, provide technical support to the Service Desk, assist the CTO In planning, conducting IT and Business Disaster Recovery tests and Business Continuity Plans.
Key Skills/Experience:
• Essential: Must have proven experience in supporting IT systems and network infrastructure
• Must have experience responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the IT infrastructure and networks and ensuring that the systems are secure and compliant with industry regulations and standards.
• Understanding of and an ability to triage and maintain a broad range of technologies across Infrastructure, Networking, Security, Databases, Applications, and Azure Configuration/Setup and Monitoring
• Desirable: Experience in a small bank would be a distinct advantage
