Electrical Project Manager

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical projects of varying values from inception to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. You will lead a team of electrical engineers and subcontractors, work closely with clients, and ensure that every project aligns with industry standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring smooth project delivery.
Team Management. Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
Client Liaison. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Quality Assurance. Ensure all work meets industry standards (BS7671), internal quality expectations, and client specifications.
Budget Management. Monitor and manage project costs, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and achieving target margins.
Scheduling. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
Risk Management. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise their impact on project success.
Reporting. Provide regular reports on project progress, budget status, and risk factors to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications / Experience Required
Time-served electrical apprentice.
C&G 2360/2330 and C&G 2391.
BS7671:2018+A2 certified.
JIB Gold or Black card (preferable)
Proven experience in managing electrical installations from start to finish.
Proficient in project management software, tools, and Microsoft Office.
Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferable mechanical knowledge and understanding. Benefits
