Join us as a Founder of our ‘new’ Sandoz This is a Senior Market Access role with deep responsibility from national payers within the HSE to tender submission, and is supported through the UK Market Access function and Biosimilars Business Unit. This roles owns and is responsible for engaging with HSE on horizon scanning, Best Value Biologic (BVB) / Best Value Medicines (BVM) and gain-shares. This role has significant customer facing responsibility and leadership of the end-to-end procurement process for Acute Hospital medicines. A key contributor to the launch readiness for future therapeutic areas and on-market products through their life cycle. Responsible for measurable outcomes in achieving National and Regional Market Access goals. https://www.sandoz.uk.com/sandoz-strategic-acquisition-ireland/ Job Description Your Key Responsibilities and What you will bring to the role: Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Leads submissions to HSE to ensure access to biosimilars and generics Leads the team to ensure timely, optimal submissions to the HSE to enable access for biosimilar medicines as Best Value Biologics Drive the development of a procurement, pricing and tender strategy for each product, in consultation with cross-functional and UK teams, ensuring the optimal price, product profile, supply and service provision is in place Identifies and implements opportunities for BVM Leads end-to-end procurement process for acute hospital medicines Maps hospital procurement processes, timelines, stakeholders and value across the portfolio of biosimilars and high-value generics Define and implement procurement and tender strategies for key molecules Track and pull through opportunities through interactions with procurement pharmacists, clinical and financial stakeholders within acute hospitals Be the face of Rowex in the hospital channel Shapes the environment at a national level, working with the Country Lead Influences procurement policy and HSE gain-share incentives to drive uptake for new medicines Influences BVB/BVM and Preferred Medicines policy and works with HSE to increase its transparency and accountability for BVB timeframes Influences the uptake and interchangeability of high-tech generics relative to the originators medicines Shapes further opportunities for the increase in penetration of generic and biosimilar medicines highlighting how they increase value for money of HSE expenditure Face of Rowex for national payers, working with UK Public Affairs Lead Present the challenges across Rowex’s therapeutic areas and links opportunities to tangible benefits within the disease area Takes European policy and positioning papers to educate and inform national payers on improved adoption and benefits of Biosimilars and Generics Leads national guideline implementation and shaping for biosimilars and generics across therapy areas Educates national payers on pipeline products and promotes Rowex’s strategy to build trust and confidence in our company Ensures biosimilars are part of the HSE workplan for BVB Subject matter expert on Irish healthcare system, working with UK Public Affairs Lead Provides input into assets being considered for the pipeline Synthesises the changes in health environment and policy and educates commercial organisation on future challenges and opportunities.
