Introduction
I am a 26-year-old woman with cerebral palsy and mild learning needs. I am keen to develop my independent skills so that I can do more things for myself. At times I forget my overall goal and need prompting and reminding of this. You will be supporting me to keep myself safe in the community and at home. Working collaboratively with my sister to help me achieve my goals.
Duties
Supporting me in developing independent skills such as;
Using public transport
Household shopping
Understanding money/budgeting
Cooking food
Cleaning and organisation
Taking me to various places such as cinema, seaside, out for lunch, etc.
Tuesday and Thursdays start at 3.30pm working for a few hours.
Hours
8hrs Mondays
2-4 hours Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
Occasional work at the weekends
Rate: £15 per hour
Essential Requirements
You must have a driving license and car and the relevant insurance
Desired Experience
Epilepsy trained
