We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and vibrant secondary school in Eastleigh. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a variety of learning needs.
* Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN), helping to implement individual learning plans and strategies.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where appropriate.
* Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom resources.
* Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential).
* A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A proactive and adaptable attitude to work in a dynamic school environment.
