Responsibilities
1. Provide support on tax reporting and compliance within India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh region.
2. Work on preparation of tax returns.
3. Collaborate with consultants on preparation and filing of flip side returns.
4. Carry out work related to TDS, withholding tax compliances and reconciliations.
5. Collate data for tax audit and address queries raised by tax auditors.
6. Collaborate with consultants on transfer pricing compliances.
7. Handle GST filings and regular indirect tax compliances.
8. Connect with accounting teams of respective entities to collate required details for assessment and filing submissions.
9. Play a key role in tax assessments and appeals & lead discussions with tax consultants/counsel.
10. Provide required data on tax matters as part of statutory audit.
11. Participate in various projects requiring inputs on corporate tax matters.
12. Support other regions of DNV in relation to tax matters.

Minimum Requirements
1. A graduate/master’s in commerce.
2. 3 - 6 years of tax experience in roles of progressively increasing responsibility.
3. Experience in Corporate tax, Transfer Pricing, International taxation.
4. Understanding of indirect tax laws of India would be an advantage.
5. Experience with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka tax matters would be an advantage.
6. Proven ability to learn and understand new software/accounting systems - Oracle would be an advantage.
7. Enjoy problem solving, as well as analysis and appropriate resolution of technical tax issues.
8. Positive attitude towards people and work assignments, and collaborative work style.
9. Experience with handling litigation.
10. Good Excel and reporting skills.
