NHS Sussex is recruiting for a System Relationship Manager to join the System Resilience function within the System Coordination Centre. The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective system resilience service supporting managers and staff across the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and wider Integrated Care System (ICS) to ensure a robust and resilient NHS response to system pressures.
There is 1.8 WTE available for this role.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the ICS in delivering the operational implementation of national SCC and OPEL frameworks and ensure system resilience and an appropriate response to increasing system pressures. They will provide support and advice to the ICB and providers of NHS funded care as required, ensuring the operational response to system pressures is timely and effective whilst ensuring NHS Sussex are provided with assurance and oversight.
The post holder will support the management of system meetings at an operational tactical and strategic level to ensure system risks are identified and actions are undertaken to mitigate. Where actions are not sufficient to mitigate risk, the post holder will support the escalation of risk to tactical and strategic management as appropriate and ensure a complete register is maintained at all times.
The post holder will support the Senior System Relationship Managers to ensure that system operations and SCC work streams and programmes of work are planned and managed effectively and will take the lead in assisting their successful delivery.

Experience
* Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment.
* Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments.

* Understanding of the public sector.
* Demonstrated experience in a Healthcare environment.
* Knowledge of Financial Systems e.g., monitoring budget management, processing invoices and procurement.
* Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures.
Qualifications
* Educated to masters level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
* Evidence of continued professional development.
Skills and Capabilities
* Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques, and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project.
* Demonstrated capability to plan over short, medium, and long-term timeframes and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly.
* Ability to prepare and produce concise yet insightful communications for dissemination to senior stakeholders and a broad range of stakeholders as required.
