Booker are looking for a Trading Support Assistant to join the Trading Support team, this part of the Insight and Proposition Trading team. The applicant should a sound understanding of the business and ideally have a knowledge of SAP processes, Excel and Word.
This role will have specific focus on providing the keying of new lines for the current National Accounts collating any associated changes/documentation for new and existing National Account suppliers.
Further there will be a need to support and help where required the scanning of products into the business and to assist as required the Data Quality Manager and Range team with any ad hoc Trading functions as required.
Reporting to the Business to Business Manager, the role will encompass contact across all aspects of the business, branches, support centres & suppliers and therefore the successful applicant must have excellent communication skills.
• Comply with all company policies, on product on-boarding, scanning samples into SAP
• Key the lines for the National Accounts M&S, Prisons and Cinema groups, to the required timelines for the product launches.
• Assist with the scanning of products into the business ensuring the bar codes meet the Booker requirements and quality standards.
• Assist with any ad hoc work associated with the Data Quality Manager as required
• Work with suppliers and Booker National Account contacts to achieve effective solutions.
• Comply with procedures to set up new lines and make changes as required to existing lines.
• Keying of new lines onto SAP for the National Accounts
• Keying of any changes needed on existing National Account lines – e.g. pack changes, bar codes
• Updating cost and WSP details on SAP for the National Accounts as required.
• Supporting the scanning section as and when required
• Supporting the DQA Manager with any ad hoc work on a day-to-day basis
• Supporting the Range Managers with any ad hoc administrative work on a day-to-day basis
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Keying of the Booker data onto the Best Food templates for any lines delivered into Best from Booker Distribution Centres
• Excellence in building positive relationships with business stakeholders.
• Understanding of SAP
• Understanding of the Scanning process
• Good organisation and time management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate effectively and efficiently with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
• Ability to adapt quickly to change :
• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of wholesale industry business processes or similar.
