Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Occupational Therapist at Biggart Hospital.
What you will do:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within South Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership for an Occupational Therapist with substantial clinical and leadership skills to join our MDT, South Intermediate Care Team (ICT) within the community. This team is a multi-disciplinary team which provides rapid response service 7 days a week.
You will work as an autonomous practitioner in the community to provide person-centred, specialised, rapid assessment and care for patients with a diverse range of complex presentations and multiple co-morbidities. Supporting the delivery of rapid response time line, prevention of inappropriate admission to hospital and facilitation of early supported discharge.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
We seek an innovative and flexible Occupational Therapist with a variety of clinical experience.
You will be highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic to undertake this role.
Professional confidence with complex clinical decision making is essential.
You will be required to manage a caseload of people with varying health and social care needs. Effective time management techniques and an ability to work autonomously and as part of a team are essential.
You should be able to demonstrate; competencies for care and rehabilitation of people with complex needs, excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing levels of activity and acuity in the community and knowledge of NHS and Social care pathways
