Syntech Recruitment is partnering with our client, a leading precision engineering company specialising in the medical device and aerospace sectors, to recruit a skilled Quality Technician. This role is critical in supporting the quality function by managing inspection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform precise measurement and inspection of components using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.
Generate and maintain inspection reports, quality documentation, and records in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
Support non-conformance investigations, providing detailed inspection findings and assisting in corrective actions.
Assist in calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality concerns before they escalate.
Support the implementation of quality control procedures and best practices within the organisation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quality Technician within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the medical device and aerospace sectors.
Strong knowledge of measurement techniques and inspection processes, including CMM experience.
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
