Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Support: Install, repair, service, and calibrate mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment in accordance with relevant standards and legislation.
* Preventative Maintenance: Actively participate in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schemes, ensuring optimal performance of plant and equipment.
* Fault Diagnosis: Conduct diagnostic procedures using electronic instruments on-site and in the workshop.
* Heavy Equipment Handling: Manage manual handling of heavy objects (up to 20kg) to ensure equipment is operational.
* Patient Equipment Maintenance: Clean, decontaminate, diagnose faults, and repair patient-related specialized equipment.
* On-Call Support: Participate in the emergency On-Call system and respond to out-of-hours issues across multiple Trust sites.Clinical & Professional Responsibilities:
