This is a role operating at all levels of the Group, including liaison with Executive & Non-Executive Directors and Senior Management. You will report directly to the Head of Corporate Secretariat and will be part of a high-performing and well-regarded team comprising of two Company Secretaries and one other Assistant Company Secretary. Duties include: - Providing the full range of corporate secretarial support services, including in relation to UK regulated entity boards and committees in the Group, as needed. - Preparing agendas for board and committee meetings, attending meetings, preparing minutes, managing minute reviews and following up action items. - Liaising with management regarding the provision and content of board papers. - Providing corporate governance advice and support to the business, to ensure that the firm's boards (and committees) are operating effectively and in accordance with best practice from a corporate governance perspective. - Partnering with the Head of Secretariat and other members of the team on governance initiatives, including representing the team on projects being undertaken at the firm and driving the implementation of changes where required. - Managing certain governance process for the team, including quarterly reviews of authorised signatory lists. - Managing and responding to KYC and other information requests. - Assisting with the identification and implementation of process improvements for the team. - Carrying out other duties as assigned.
