The Role :
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Service Supervisor to join our team at QIC Pacific Werribee Shopping Centre. The position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation and performance of the site and will provide visible leadership, direction and support to ensure efficiency and effectiveness are maintained at a consistent level.
The successful applicant must demonstrate significant Security Management & Client liaison experience.
Please note this position is a: Working Supervisor position. Weekend availability is essential. Weekend penalty rates apply!
Full working rights in Australia is essential.
Work hours are as follows :
Thursday to Friday : 11am to 9pm
Saturday Sunday : 9am to 6pm
Key Responsibilities :
* Working closely with the Guest Services Manager to achieve a high level of client satisfaction
* Coaching, mentoring and supporting security team members with the objective to build a high performing team
* Ensuring all Team Members are in compliance and have all up to date credentials / endorsements
* Liaising with local Law Enforcement Authorities in relation to security issues, as they impact upon the Centre and its surroundings
* Monthly KPI’s and metrics reporting with management to ensure cost-effectiveness that aligns with the company budgets
* Acting on any incidents, near misses, equipment faults, complaints and information that is security related
* Effectively managing labour costs such as rosters, leave and overtime to the agreed schedule as per the site’s P&L and company standard
* Establishing systems, policies and procedures knowledge base designed to ensure consistently high service performance and seamless support is provided
To succeed in this role you will need :
* Well-developed interpersonal, communication and relationship building and management skills
* Previous Security Management or supervisory experience with an intimate understanding of emergency procedures
* Previous experience leading a team
* Proficient in preparation of reports, dashboards and documentation
* Ability to handle high-pressure situations with key stakeholders
* Current Security license with appropriate endorsements
* Advanced First Aid / Advance CPR and Resuscitation (Preferred)
* Provision of after-hours assistance and emergency response for all security, operations and facility-related areas
